Staten Island Pages – Paying Homage to September 11 Victims

Staten Island Pages remembers all the people who lost their life in tragic event happened on September 11, 2001. We gratefully express our heartiest wish for the peace of their souls.

StatenIslandPages is a community forum of Staten Islanders. Today is the day of historic tragedy at World Trade Centre in New York. Staten Island Pages pays homage to all the martyrs who lost their life in that tragic event. How can we forget the barbarity of militants, who became a reason behind such a great loss to humanity.

September 11 2001, a day, which no human being can forget, was the day of disaster, a day of shame, a day of curse for New York City. The world famous World Trade Centre that was a pride for New York City, the twin towers that was used to symbolize New York, became an object of history. A few militants, who claim themselves as revolutionaries hijacked two planes and flew directly to World Trade Centre, resulting the most tragic accident of world history.

Now, there is no world trade centre. The place has become a monument for the World Trade Centre and all the people who lost their life. Now 7 years have been passed, but no one can forget that incident. The day reminds us again and again to keep ourselves ready to face all the challenges to humanity and encourage us to raise our voice against any such people or organization engaged in such activities.
