The beautiful Staten Island is not only bestowed with natural gifts but also given some prominent celebrities. The island is famous for promoting tourism to the optimum level, revealing the ancient glory with many outstanding museums and monuments. It has also given several inborn talents to the society and the world. The talent and popularity of these celebrities touched the sky.

Born in this small island in the surroundings of quite and natural peace, these celebrities are now the part of glamorous world. The island had produced some real talents whose knowledge had outshined on entire world. Some of the prominent celebrities of this island are:

Brendan Sexton III – Born in February 21, 1980, the renowned actor with pale skin and street tough demeanor, Sexton engraved his name in edgy independent films. This versatile actor made his debut as Brandon, the abusive classmate from the movie Welcome to the Dollhouse. The actor also acted in some of the classic movies like ‘Warren Beatty’, the shoplifter given a job at “Empire Records. Arresting Gene where he played the role of soldier. The song was nominated for “Best Original Song in a Motion Picture” at the Golden Globe Awards. That was the landmark in the life of Aguilera. From there she started recording for her debut albums. Like “Genie in a Bottle” which was placed top at various musical charts. Other includes “Love Will Find A Way”, “So Emotional and What A Girl Want”, “My Kind of Christmas”, and “Dirty, Car Wash”. Aguilera was nominated twice for Grammy awards with Tony Bennett for the song “Stepping’ Out”.

Rick Schroder – The heartthrob of teen, dramatic actor and award-winning director Rick Schroder. The fantastic actor was born on April 13, 1970 in Staten Island, New York, at showbiz family of Richard and Diane Schroder. The actor possessed the natural gift of acting that further helped him in earning name and fame. Some of the top movies include The Champ, The Last Flight of Noah’s Ark, Little Lord Fauntleroy, and Silver Spoons. He also directed movies like Black Cloud and Whiskey Lullaby.

Eric Close – The star of NBC series Dark Skies actor Eric Close also belongs to Staten Islands. Eric earned his fame by acting in popular investigation series “Without a Trace”. It was his excellent acting that stolen the heart of millions.
