Richmond Town – Exhibit of History
New York City’s only historic village is a collection of 28 landmarked building in a park like setting. Visitors can stroll through this open air museum and experience the life in 19th century Staten Island. Watch a carpenter or tinsmith honing their trade. Learn how to make soap or see one of the oldest operating printing presses. Visit the Voorlezer’s House, circa 1695, the oldest schoolhouse in the United States. Richmond Country fair is old fashion fair, which is country fun in Staten Island-style. Live Concerts, crafts and games guarantee a great time for the whole family during the fair.
